Float Glass
Float glass is the basic form of glass made by melting silica, sand, soda ash, and other chemicals before floating it out atop a pool of molten tin. The result is a flat surface glass sheet with uniform thickness that exhibit fine light transmission. Float glass thickness can range from 2mm to 19mm and can be cut-to-size for architectural applications or further processed into safety glass for specific glass products.
