Tinted Glass

Tinted glass is created by adding metals like cobalt, manganese or selenium during the float glass manufacturing process. It allows less heat and sunlight to pass through compared to clear glass and offers better insulation against heat loss and protection against ultraviolet rays. The properties are permanent unlike surface coatings and it is commonly used in the facade of high-rise residential and commercial buildings.
